Te Wanaka Lodge provided excellent value for money, with a cozy room and a convenient location. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
The breakfast option could be improved by offering more variety, especially for those with dietary restrictions.

Lovely cooked breakfasts made by friendly staff. Different food each day, plus cereals and toast. Comfy bed in small room with balcony, albeit blocked by a tree. Good bathroom and towels. Hot tub in garden, great for relaxing and two lounges available. Convenient location near shops, restaurants, and bars.

The hosts are just wonderful. The hospitality is simply outstanding, and compliments well with the fabulous atmosphere. This is likely to become our favourite stay for our skiing adventures, we are even tempted to return in summer to enjoy more of the nz offerings. Skiers are spoiled by the amenities, daily snow reports, expert guest speakers at the fab apres ski evening gathering, and hearty brekkies. It was such an enjoyable stay, with bonus cat therapy for animal lovers.

Fresh fruit salad, cereals, and toast provided. Comfy bed and good bathroom. Small complex with a garden and hot tub. Convenient location near shops, restaurants, and bars. Great town with a buzzing atmosphere. Interesting bird life on east and west walks.
Felt at home here, no complaints at all.

Being in a ground floor unit, you could hear the movements of the people in the above unit.Next time I would ask for a top floor unit.

The owners were awesome in both their hospitality and attention to making our stay delightful. There was a slight glitch in the reservation and they went above and beyond to help us. Breakfast was wonderful-the best French toast I have ever eaten! They got up to cook very early for us to get off

The rooms were clean and the staff was really friendly. The breakfast had a big portion of egg and bacon, along with other options like cereals, fruit, and jam. The location was great, close to town centre and within walking distance to lots of restaurants. Plus, parking was available on site.
The parking space was a bit small and there were limited spaces. , the guest fridge didn't work well and was located next to the laundry, which was a bit inconvenient.

Staff are friendly & it's rather relaxing place.
One of the bedside light didn't work and down stair front room was noise.

The lodge was incredibly cozy and comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after a long day exploring the city. The kitchen area was well-stocked and had everything we needed, and the afternoon tea/coffee was a lovely touch. The lounge with the fireplace created a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for curling up with a good book. Best of all, the location was fantastic! It was just a short walk to the lake and the nearby restaurants, making it easy to explore the city and try out different dining options.
One disappointment was the misrepresentation of the rooms. The photos gave the impression of luxurious rooms with lake views, but in reality, the rooms were cozy but not quite as luxurious as expected.
